Getting started

Welcome to Devigner, a small, thoughtful home for your ideas. Every page begins with a Markdown file. Vue takes care of the rest.

Good tools get out of the way. Open a text editor, find an idea, and start writing.

Make yourself at home

Your pages live in src/content/. Each Markdown file becomes a URL, and nested folders keep things organized.

src/content/
  index.md → /
  about.md → /about
  guide/
    getting-started.md → /guide/getting-started

The home page collects your published pages automatically. The sidebar stays in sync, too.

Create your first page

Add a file named hello-world.md to src/content/. Give it a title, a short description, and a few words of your own.

---
title: Hello, world
description: A small beginning.
category: Journal
order: 1
---

# Hello, world

Every good idea starts somewhere.

Save the file while the development server is running, and your new page will appear. No route configuration required.

Follow your curiosity

Use ordinary Markdown links to connect your pages. Relative .md links work here, so your writing stays portable.

Make it yours

Change the site name in src/App.vue, adjust the colors in src/style.css, and replace these example pages with your own. This is a starting point for a journal, a handbook, a notebook, or something entirely yours.

A little more knowledge, a little further along.
